Integrated Document Delivery (IDD)

IDD offers a suite of specialized services designed to meet the varied needs of our diverse research community: including document delivery, interlibrary loan, and academic course reserves.

Interlibrary Loan Services

Interlibrary loan services work with an international network of institutions to borrow and lend materials that support the role and mission of the university. Interlibrary loan borrows books, dissertations, government documents, microforms and other loanable materials for USC students, staff and faculty that are not owned by USC, or are otherwise unavailable from USC's collection. Photocopies of articles or book chapters can also be obtained. More information about interlibrary loan can be found on the Interlibrary Loan page.

Academic Course Reserves Services

At the request of the course instructor or teaching assistant, copies of books, journal articles, course readers, homework solutions, pretests, music scores, audio/visual materials, etc. can be placed on reserve at one of the Interdisciplinary Centers. Student access to materials placed on reserve may be either physical or electronic. More information about reserves can be found on the Reserves page.

Document Delivery Services

Document delivery is a new service that provides electronic delivery of articles and book chapters from USC Libraries print collections. This service is currently only available for USC Faculty, and Distance Learning program participants. Requesting is done in the same way as interlibrary loan on the Integrated Document Delivery page.
